Heatherbank Office at Christmas

This December, the festive spirit was in full swing as we hosted two special events at Heatherbank Country Park and Cunninghamhead Estate to support Cash for Kids’ Mission Christmas. Every year Cash for Kids launches their Mission Christmas, a campaign designed to provide gifts for children that would otherwise not receive anything on Christmas Day.

On the 9th and 16th December our residents came together for ‘Mince Pie Monday’. Our residents met at the parks and enjoyed an afternoon of festivities, with Christmas music, food, and fun.

Our park warden, Eamonn, put his creative skills to work by making wooden Christmas trees out of spare offcuts of wood. These trees were sold across Heatherbank and Cunninghamhead Estate to further raise money and spread the festive cheer. Residents decorated their trees to their own individual styles, resulting in a fabulous display of unique Christmas trees throughout the park. Take a look below at some of the wonderful designs.

Together, these events raised £400 which Laird Estates have matched to create a total of £800 for Cash for Kids, which will go towards providing grant funding and Christmas gifts to families who need them most.

Thank you

We’d like to extend a huge thank you to everyone who participated and donated. Your kindness and support mean the world to us and to the children who will benefit from this effort.

Stay tuned for more updates and events as we continue to make a positive impact in our communities.
